About this project
ACE Lighting succeeded at creating a hip but homely look by applying the latest technology and incorporating it into the interior.
Our solution
It was obvious for this project that the style was determined by the owner, a relatively simple style in combination with a few vintage touches to create a homely atmosphere. The restaurant is named after the backyard of the building, which has a magical view of the Antwerp Cathedral.
Subtile lighting
The majority of the space is illuminated by the Lampe Gras from DCW Editions. This lamp is mainly known for its rather industrial look. We’ve also worked with integrated LED lines to illuminate both the benches and the bottles behind the bar. This gives a very subtle touch to the design and provides certain accents in the room. The simple but decorative pendants that you see hanging above the table come from our DIY Corner. Therefore, we would like to refer you to our blog post make your own lamp. The garden has been decorated with a string of lights, which provides many pleasant evenings on the terrace. The rechargeable table lamps with name Bonjour Unplugged from FLOS, which are spread throughout the restaurant, immediately give a cozy atmosphere to the interior.
