Who is Koekentroef?
Koekentroef is a Flemish television production house. It is both an office and a residential project where we could benefit from the high ceiling height and where amazing lighting installations have been introduced to the space.
About this project
The assignment was to find one or more solutions for brightening up rooms with high ceilings. These gigantic voids require more attention when creating a lighting plan.
Our solution
The challenge for this project was to figure out how you should deal with those high ceilings. Ultimately, the intention was to focus on the space we have and to create a playful effect. We translated this idea into a lighting spectacle of String Lights. There is also a showpiece, the Zeppelin from FLOS, above the conference table. Decorative light in such spaces creates an uncluttered atmosphere.
High spaces
We are happy to give you a few options that are suitable when illuminating high spaces. One of them is the integration of eye catchers, so that even more attention is placed on the height. In addition, hanging lamps and clusters also form a good lighting solution. But for this project we mainly worked with span and vertical lines using String Lights.
