About this project

A commercial project in which the modern technology of light is applied in a historic building.

Our solution

This project is characterized by high ceilings and an excessive need for flexibility, with constantly changing collections and furnishings. A system of rails was chosen in this case so that the lighting can always be moved to another desired location, if necessary. The Zumi copters hang on the rails, which are rotatable by 359 ° and can also be placed over each other with spacers in between. These serve as general lighting for the interior. Along with accents that are being laid with spots, that will illuminate in a more direct way. By combining both, a varied overall look is being created, fully adaptable to the rapidly changing collections.

Brand personality

The rails, the spots and the copters are black or white. All fixtures have a light color of 4000K, which results in very cold light. The lighting plan fits in seamlessly with the branding of Studio Rundholz.
